So Far Away

You and I  have not talked at all today

You and I talked everyday; day and night

Why must you and time cause all this dismay?

Can’t one save me from this terrible fright?

I sit all day waiting for you to show

The sun sets and you are nowhere around

My heart feels like I have suffered a blow

I cannot breathe; I have collapsed and drown

The day was swallowed by the dark nightfall

You have not tried to contact me today

My chest hurt so bad I started to crawl

It’s like I’m an act’r for a drama play

I miss you; please come  to our loving home

And my mourning will return to the gnome
