"So many flights" By Ben Goode 2017 (c) Image is not mine

Thankyou sir for being here
On the plane, I fake my cheer.
Smile that hurts, my face so long.
Make it fly, a happy song.
Perform I will a safety show
You never listen, never know
Maybe if I look away
I just want to go, but have to stay
Life jacket now, around my waist
Want to sit, so I make haste.
Walk the aisles, where you see.
The uniform, that is not me.
Looking up you see me smile.
Can I rest a little while?
Coffee now, you want some cake?
Ignoring me, I'm feeling great.
Manners gone, you wave away.
Ok sir, have a nice day.
Take you rubbish? Thankyou sir.
Smile again, I will concur.
Sitting down, you look at me.
Staring forward, so I can't see.
Another day, my hair is tight.
Another day, so many flights.

well written linda
Thankyou, I think those ladies must really work hard to be so cheery. I make sure I acknowledge and thank them every time.
This is exactly precise how it is:
Fabulous description of the flight
Poetic realism
Best from Jai:)
