So Many Webs

So many webs, vehement webs. The future, a pit of honesty:
The eyes, a spawn of woes—and such my Father’s pain. My
Prayer—mother’s wings: my heart, a woman’s faith. Speak
The dream, my rising joy. And such guile, to censure God;
And such love, to pardon God. My ear, a vessel sore: my
Speech, a humble art. And so many webs, vehement webs.
[Selah] Invoke the bridge, my crying light. Else, suffer a pit
Of lies. For they suffer—a vixen’s poison; and they die—an
Adder’s oath. What is this tragedy—to vow the pledge of
Death? And what is this vanity—to sever such innocence?
[Selah] I die—the bliss of prose; and I live—the tears of
Ghosts. Such light—a vibrant heart; and such love, a
Whisper soft. My "crooked" foe, alert the hells—a phantom
Lives…despite so many webs, glorious webs.
