Poem -
Soar for the Horizon
If it scares you,
good.
You must leap.
Leap to conquer the fears;
Fears hidden in the crevices of your mind.
Too often do we "settle,"
rather than pursue a dream.
It is not that the aim is too high
and we miss it,
it is that it is too low
and we reach it.
Fear. Failure. Disappointment.
They are all intertwined
in a web of the inevitable.
Unless you leap.
Defy the fears,
ignore the doubts.
Dream
and have faith in it.
Do not settle,
soar.
