Society or Reality

We all look for reason to connect 
but find that we separate 
The melody of a single song 
can drop a  heart or offer to alleviate
But its there that we forget 
we all feel something so we dont  reciprocate 
coming together, we become falling apart  
Hell bent on proving a point that we think we stand for
only because we're all looking for something to stand for 
but no one wants to talk about how we got taken apart before we even could learn more 

Separated by means of society is a reality that we all join without knowing its gravity and thats something we try to fight without seeing the enemy so we fire shots at one another leaving no room for each other 

And aint that the joke of it all 
we try to play different games nocking each other out 
but we all fall
