Soldier protecting us with arms warm and strong.
Soldier remembering sacrifices gone by
Come home to us safely
Please Lord hear our cries.
Soldier serving far from our sight
Soldier we say our prayers for you all through the night.
Soldier, respect for you, till the end of time
Soldier your courage to the heavens it shines.
Soldier remember us back home when you will
Soldier we are here for you till eternity is still.
Soldier lonely you will never be
Soldier with strong devotion flowing for thee.
Soldier be proud and hold your head high
Our pride and our love for you are colouring your sky.
We must always remember the sacrifices they made for our freedom.
We must never forget!

I learned about D-Day in school. We were learning about the Holocaust, it was very tragic. Not only were innocent people killed but it shows how dangerous discrimination can be. Great write.
