Solid Gold

When gold is in it’s purest form, twenty four karats does it be;

One for each year we’ve been married, today is our Anniversary!

June fifth, nineteen ninety three, the happiest day of my life;

You looked at me and said “I Do”, and became my treasured wife!

Next year we will call it silver, but this one I’m calling gold;

Our auric Anniversary, two dozen years unfold!

The next day we took our Honeymoon, which never came to end;

For each one with you is Paradise, my life to ever spend!
