Solstice

Solstice

Bewitched tis skies, along ashore,
Aqueous glass beckons yore
Seasons long ago when time began,
Β
Diamonds in the cold moonlit night,
Stars akin iridescent candlelight
Jack Frost touches with icy hand
Β
AΒ heart trembles to see,
Chills transcend mote shall be
Tread soft as snowflakes fall
Β
Lone wolf nocturnes a moon
Echoing refrain tis a boon
Lovers find solace in the call

Β
Caress not the crystal tears
Fragile a beauty as it disappears
A sunrise licks the icicle dew
Β
Melting into spring as daffodils arise
Wiping grit from pollen eyes
Gifting a wonderland anew
Β
