Solution to American Education

Education, education, education…we are falling behind the rest of the world! Teachers and teacher unions are the problem. The children – who will speak up for the children?!?!?! I know the solution, but apparently it is something our Supreme Court has frowned upon.
How lucky for the justices to sit in their quiet chambers reading recommendations from their clerks regarding cases, being alone with their thoughts, papers and classical music and sipping their coffees or herbal tea that may or may not have a hit of whiskey in it, and their weekly Thursday Night first amendment pornography video evenings hosted by Justice Clarence Thomas.
School was different when Justice Oldie Fogies received their educations, but they have not been in a classroom in the South Bronx, Newark, or any urban place or suburban school– in the last four decades. Teachers used to be king of the classrooms.
GEIST v. NEWARK SCHOOL DISTRICT (2014)
While Mr. Geist, a former pastor and Teacher of the Year may be correct that being able to use a Taser gun or cattle prod on one incorrigible student per semester would bring considerable positive behavioral change in the young people who may have not received proper home training for various reasons. There is science behind the impact of poverty and P.T.S.D. on such children, and we the Court of the United States of America, the interpreters of what is deemed constitutional or not, have decided by a 5-2 decision, that such class room management control being truly effective for the sake of the majority children, must suffer at the hands of the 2-3 knuckleheads in class that have no respect for their elders giving them tools to live a life of reasonable happiness, and a ladder to success in life by building reading, writing, and reasoning skills - BECAUSE USE OF THE TASER GUN-CATTLE PROD WOULD BE CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT.
Might does not make right for citizens, but especially teachers who are some of the last to still have union representation. Might for right is only for corporations, the military and our Congress, Senate and President.
Unfortunately, the majority must suffer, despite the fact that any juvenile delinquents would think twice before acting the idiot knowing they could end up on the floor with the shakes, with their tongues hanging out and drooling on the floor until they re-gain their senses with students standing around them laughing and pointing at the incapacitated trouble maker made wiser by a Board of Ed Cattle Prod.
How much better would it be in the classrooms if teachers could teach, and decent students would be able to learn without constant talking, disrespectful behavior and frequent interruptions during class instruction.
Talking back to the teacher, using the “n” word, playing videos and music on cell phones and the right to interrupt class is an American right. No wonder foreign exchange students jaws are on the ground in every class they attend. I guess the military basic training could be next – yelling is now considered corporal punishment.
Taser guns are “cruel and unusual punishment in the classroom,” and class bullying is a protected right.

Education should be widely discussed, often.
well done.
Hello James...
Should we really expect educators to be with higher integrity than their students parents and other connections?
It begins at home, no matter what generation...
When I have had to have meetings to defend my children...
I was taken very seriously...
There's many people that I would find difficult to take them seriously...
It all begins at home...
I can't count how many people I knew, that if a relationship ended they focused more on their kids...
In a relationship the kids were a burden...
I have seen it a lot...
They got into another relationship the kids were pushed aside again...
Kids aren't dumb...
It makes a lot of sense when we see children smarter than adults...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...
