Some Deaths

Some deaths don't need a funeral,

Some deaths don't need a grave,

Some deaths go unnoticed,

Lives no one tried to save,

And though there isn't a body,

A soul has been decidedly lost,

Somebody has become a hollow shell,

The ends of their heart begin to frost,

And though you cannot hear,

The battle that's inside,

You can see them dying in their eyes,

As they decide to quit the ride.
