Some Time Passed
I loved you from the moment I saw your sweet smile and bright brown eyes
The way you spoke and the way you looked at me took my breath away
My heart was yours the moment you said hello and I never wanted you to give it back.
Some time passed before we met again
when our eyes crossed each other and our smiles met again
we never parted from that day forward.
Some time passedΒ and weΒ had two special and wonderful sons
Then God had a different plan for our lives.
Some time passedΒ God needed you in Heaven with him
at that time I asked God to love the heart that I loved so much
and please give my heart back asΒ time passed.
