SOMEBODY ELSE'S DREAM

SOMEBODY ELSE'S DREAM

Got a day night job
I drive through the five o'clock traffic
Got a better, bigger dream... something fantastic
I let reality escape me, as the toll man says "pay me"

It's just my day job
It's not that I mind it, it's not that I don't wanna work hard
I'm a worthy candidate, with a gamblers bad card

Got a girl waiting for me
She says "be happy with what we've got"
As I throw lint into the savings pot
I got a extraordinary plan, bigger, better scheme
It's Just my day job, it's somebody else's dream

It's just my day job
It's not that I mind it, it's not that I don't wanna work hard
I'm a worthy candidate, with a gamblers bad card
