Poem -

someone i loved

someone i loved

it feels like she grabbed my heart,
and held it so gently, and always had it.
but in reality, she was just squeezing it,
tighter and tighter until i couldnβ€˜t breathe,
couldnβ€˜t function, couldnβ€˜t pull myself
out of her grasp without tearing my heart in two.
and now i have, and she still has half of it,
broken and bleeding, and wonβ€˜t give it back.

Hello ALEX!!
A well delivered piece of poetic prose that delves into the idea of pain and the aspects of Love's potentially abusive underlying intent!!..... this doesn't read as 'Beautiful' to me....... it comes across as being in the mind of someone who has experienced being stalked or something similar!!..... unfortunately it happens ALOT in this crazy-ass reality we reside in!!......ALL STARS!!...VERY compelling subject matter dear poet brother!!...... well done...... and.....WELCOME to COSMO!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.........T xo ?✴❀
