Something Bright

Something Bright

Blaubergstrand loomed in the beautiful distance,
indelibly etched like a hazy moment of instance,
the white car reflected sunlight and nice shadows,
coral sand gave us warmth as we wriggled our toes.

A string bikini left little to the personal imagination,
rather like the allure and scent of a red carnation;
a book casually nestled in the sand by Harold Pinter,
she said: 'Never mind, I'll grow it for you in winter.'

Have you ever been in a love triangle mon ami?
You should try it sometime, loaded with mystery;
Norman wouldn't come into the lounge, I was there,
wealthy kraut hovered, it seemed that nothing was fair.

I touched her thigh and blonde hairs stood up together,
you remember something bright in the land of never never.
