Something in the night?

As I wake up in a startle with no sound at all

Did I just see a golden light?

Something shining in the night..

Well whatever it was I had chased it away

As my mind processed what I had just witnessed as I silently lay

But then again these mysterious things often happens to me

Flickers flash right before my very eyes and then they flee..

Circles of lights, orbs or glows

What on earth these really are well nobody really knows

Perhaps they are messages from up above?
