something to think about

Here is something
to think about,
While your walking down the street
The person you just passed without notice,
or a hello, an absent greet
Has no life no company
No food to eat
Maybe even no shoe's
Upon their cold feet
Is society that shallow?
You can't spend a minute of your time being kind......
So closed within your own mind,
Or even say hello?
Does anyone care?
A fond hello just could make their daily suffering that little bit easier to bear.

Do something for someone else today,
Take away the mental stain,
Be thankful you don't have to live your life,
Holding onto so much pain.

Society is the waters flow,
Don't waste it down the drain.
