Somewhere Deep

I wish to write of love; but something streams; and something
Screams; and something lives; and something cries; and life
To pain—is pain of life: a struggle deep: the fear of gods.
Explain a motive—a motive fair; and beauty sewn—a cultured

Myth; and thus the ache—a tender grief; and thus the lie—a
Privy tear; and tell the birds: ā€œI meant for goodā€; and speak the
Mind—a prison term; and feel a pang: the deepest root; and die
The light—a wire whale; and something flame—irks the nerves:

A mirror broke: a subtle burn; but feign the rule—a rule to feign;
And speak the rule—a shadowed myth; and tale to mind—a feeling
Gut; but thought aflame—a feeling gut; and thus the truth—a
Feeling raw; and thus the truth—a feeling feigned; and seek a smile—
A smile to seek; but ā€˜tude and pain—squirms and leaks; and why
Concern—a haven heart; and why believe—a sudden lark.Ā Ā
