Somewhere over the horizon 💙

Just way out yonder of that slightly arced line above the briney sea

Tho I cannot see what lies behind it, coz that’s impossible to know

If I could climb aboard a sailing ship that’s the direction I would go

Searching for an unimaginable, heading for that horizontal bar

Breaking thru the barrier of oblivion to seek out the beautiful bizarre

Further than the farthest point of one’s imagination

Beneath yon beyond of factual to a freedom of fascination

Way over the glowing array of reality

Without humankind’s existence nor timelessness infinity

Shall I seek my solitary salvation ? 

Dwelling down amongst those deepest depths of my hallucination

Will I soothe my spiritual soul ? 

If I pass through the eye of the needle to reach that unbelievable goal

Nothing ventured, nothing gained when all is said and done
