Love

Love

The smell of your head lying next to you in bed
Overtakes my senses and emotions
Tears stream from my eyes, as I watch you lie
Emotions so strong, nothing seems wrong
The love that I feel, so real
Wander off my hemisphere
But never forget that I was once here

This emotionally driven poetic proclamation portraying pure love could have been written to a child, a parent, or even a loving spouse.
That's what intrigued me so about the way you've worded this.
beautifully done, Gail.
Have a lovely weekend.
