Son of God
 
You are the one the only son of God by name
Absent of you my journey wouldn’t be the same
 
My tender heart is aching for your love
Reign down glory from heavenly skies above
 
I pray to you when the moon lights the sky
In the afterlife I hope together we fly
 
I am a true believer in your sacred heart
Take the thunderclouds and make them part
 
You are the one the Lord over sky and land
The mystery of our future is in your hands
 
I pray for mercy of our wayward souls
Don’t allow the darkness take it’s toll
 
You’re the sun on a glorious morning
You are love when skies are storming
 
Want to walk in your footsteps till the end of time
You bring the glory of your love to this heart of mine
 
And thou sometimes from my path I stray
I know your love will always guide my way
 
You’re the blood that flows through my veins
Would you wash away all of my shame
 
Your breathe is the breeze across the ocean shore
 With my soul in your light couldn’t ask for more
 
You built a bridge of trust and of faith
May your love shine and always grace
 
Your love is more powerful than the raging sea
Listen to the waves open your hearts try to believe
