Songstress and The Cobra

The Songstress

Began to sing

Mellifluous new river

of tone and flow

Pleasant to hear

The cobra

came out the basket

hypnotized

Put his fangs back in

And could only look at her

 kissing her softly

and then deeply

she made him weak

in a great way

The Songstress

just smiled

and looked back

and know all was good
