Poem -

Sonnet from an Attic

Monotony transcended its estate
With delicacy & two cigarettes
While absence of appropriate affect
Practices perfect unrequited praise
In the miasma sits a lack of day
Procuring gestures dilution objects
These "lovers" quarrel in the ambience
And halfway around, the earth made its trade

The young Grand Duchess stood in a white dress
With a camera to capture expression
And void stood, and void reflected defeat
Conserving behind a gopherwood cross
She transcended into monotony:
To accommodate lofty transition
