Sore Thumb

Room full of blurred faces
but yours stood out to me
I looked in your eyes, I saw your pain
you want to escape, just likeÂ
me
Eyes took me exploringÂ
they sent me on a journeyÂ
through your eyes, past your pain
ive been all alone, this rage is burningÂ
We know we should talk
but we donât feel verbal
its the souls recognisingÂ
a thirst that is personalÂ
You donât get it eitherÂ
weâre beautifully similar
youâre for me, Iâm for you
and these years have been killing us
Come outside
lets ignore this crowd
you were once all alone
 but I am here now.

Hey, Chariot. Welcome to Cosmo!
Personally I don't mind being alone.
However, I hate to be lonely.
Many times I've had impromptu rendezvous with a kindred spirit in a crowded room. Each and every time it occurs, it has created a sort of déjà vu effect.
Nicely penned, sir. A stunning and emotive first entry.

Hello Dean,
I really enjoyed reading your comment.Â
This has happened to me a few times, too. Thank you for your wonderful words, kind sir.Â

It was entirely my pleasure. :}
