Souls-Spirits-Solitude

Inspired by a beautiful poem written by Marion Price.
We visit them quite often, dear Souls that sadly passed;
For life is not eternal, so shortly seems to last!
My Mother and my Father, are buried side by side;
She lived to over eighty, his longevity denied!
.
And laying in between them, we buried an antique porcelain box;
With something dear from Nico and Cody, some tufts of their white locks!
It brings such joy to go and see them, their spirits surrounding us;
In serenity’s sounds of silence, we feel life within their dust!
.
For in this sapient solitude, come memories of all we shared;
They fill the air, and make us happy, our Souls eternal bared!
When we kiss them all and tell them, we’ll return to them real soon;
The Heavens play a tune for us, Debussy’s “Claire de Lune”!
.
.
Dear departed Souls
Your spirits bring happiness
As we hold again

great poem Larry and Linda
Our Dear Greg,
So glad you liked it. You know how much we miss the Villages, but to be only ten minutes from the family, gravesite, is a blessing.
Love,
Linda and Larry xxx
