Poem -

Sown Seedling

I hath sown a seed,
In soil as fertile as fertile can be.
Though I do not know which plant or tree will sprout from thee,
I will wait patiently and love ye unconditionally.
With rain, time and sunshine;
Thine will's t grow divine!
May thy roots avoid aggressive adversaries,
May thy escape the unsightly underworld unscathed,
Bursting into light like a phoenix rising from it's sooty grave.
May thy blossoms emerge with effortless eloquence,
May thy fruit carry the nourishing nectar needed to sustain life.
I hath but one inquiry for ye little seed;
Since it was I who gave life to thee,
Will ye bear thy fruits for me?
