Spear & Hook

I imagine wonderful, and misunderstood; and much to give:
A signet soul; and much to live: a brilliant smile; and traces
Linger: a silent pain; but love is law: the tint of flame; and
What the if; but times are hard; and promised fate: a broken

Law; and such the grief; and such the pain. I love you far—
The should of cry; for up the close—a portrait mind; and such
Is thought—a roving love; and such is soul—a graving dove.
Imagine joy—a fallen bliss; and wave a wand—a wailing

Kiss; for something pure—it lingers far; and something tart—
It grips a scar. My myth and mare—a never will; and lights and
Bulbs—a fervent kiln; and this is prose—a never can; and
This is love—a foreign land; and paint a rose—a torn ideal;
And whisper soft—how love should feel; and know the pain—
A featured book: a valued tear: a spear and hook.
