SPEECHLESS

SPEECHLESS

HOW CAN I TELL YOU OF MY PAIN
THAT AS YOU EXHALE YOUR TOXIC AIR
IT DRIVES ME INSANE

MY HEAD ACHES AND I CANNOT SLEEP
THE SMELL OF YOUR CIGARETTES
FINDING COMFORT, IN COLORS OF MY SHEET

I AM FAR AWAY FROM MY HOME
A GUEST, BY YOUR INVITATION
BUT OUR FRIENDSHIP COULD BE TORN

MY LUNGS ARE CHOKED
BY THIS UNFILTERED WIND
I LONG TO VOICE MY OPINION
BUT LIFE OF OUR FRIENDSHIP
KEEPS ME SPEECHLESS.

WILFORD BARKER.
