Speechless

The deepest of emotions
mutes me in my speech
and the eloquence of others is really the opposite of expression.

So do not let me be verbose
or scholarly.

The words just get in the way.
Don't let me quench this love
with my desire to express
because just between us is more than enough.
This is existential
and if it's the deepest of emotions,

then stop me before I say any more.
