The Spinning Wheel---- Based on pretty old irish folksong

All day and all night
My poor heart is burning
To the purr of the wheel
As the spinning wheels turning

Come to me my true love
The moonlight is falling
Hear my heart whisper
To you love it is calling

Genly and smoothly
The spinning wheels ringing
Softly and sweetly
The young maidens singing

A noise by the window
Someone is tapping
My love in the moonlight
My poor heart is rapping

Asleep by the fireside
Her father and mother
Outside in the blue light
A handsome young lover

Slowly and slowly the
Spinning wheels ringing
Faster and faster
Her happy heart singing

All fast asleep
No one hears her missing
Under the moons light
Young lovers are kissing

Gently and slowly
Spins the wheel round
As they are quietly wooing
No making a sound
