Spiral
Just something I said to my friend, seemed worthy of a poem
Like 6 Pin it 4You've seen me broken, you've watched me fall.
Yet you've never seen me spiral back into darkness,
So far from it all but so close to the edge.If I fall, dont try and catch me,
Let me tumble until I can stand,
Let me fall until I find my wings to fly with,
Stand clear while I rebuild.A messy process,
Full of hurt and lies,
Stand back from falling bricks,
Crashing walls,
Embrace me when Im up,
But while Im down, just let me fall,
Until I soar.

How else do we rise with our own wings, other than falling? Those who rise without the fall, are using borrowed wings. When they fall it will be twice as hard to soar. Thank you for your comment though! Im happy you enjoyed it🦋
Completely agree, only ourselves truly have the power to lift ourselves, to bring about the change to rise. Noone else can do that for us no matter how much they want to or try. It has to come from within. ☀
