The Spirit Dares

Such smaze and love, my scar and dance, the pulse of light,
My mystic glance. And restless sea, has fused the soul, my
Russet dreams, my scars to gold. And tears asleep, the spirit
Dares, to pierce the soul, as fierce as flares. And wave to
Heart, to laugh and smile, the force of love, the stream of trial.
But fount to well, my spark to flame, the gift of light, the
Veil of pain. And depth the soul, the drape of verse, the
Wrap of fate, the streams of birth.
And death to life, the pith of worth, a scroll of love, a silent
Curse. But lucent prayer, the flog of flesh, the torch of soul,
The rites of breath. My florid love, the song of birds, the
Flux of flight, the pulse of words. And heart to keel, to feel
The spark, the cult of life, a mystic arc. And tears asleep, the
Spirit dares, to pierce the soul, as fierce as flares.Â
