spirit in him

not once have you failed to smile in all honesty

still pain etched on your face 

a spirit forever pleasing 

a good example of the human race 

forever carrying on 

from the pain and hurt in him 

past turmoils  

present enigmas 

 a great spirit within

you teach us to forget our battles 

your spirit shines that light 

win over our grievance sadness and pain
