SPIRIT OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE

In the Sprit of the Roman Empire

Congress

has turned its back on the American people

convoluting

our protections with the Patriot Act.

There is nothing

patriotic about these legal bridges

assumed to benefit

the spying of its own people.

As Caesar’s cabinet corrupted his roots of power

The seat

of the house was powerless

against the cutting knife

and oppression of its members

how justifiable profound these images sit

in a

contemporary society lead by these wolves.

In the Spirit of the Roman Empire

the illicity

of these measures now compounds a fracture

as the House

splits and death smells in the air

for a country

cannot be saved when the trench is dug.

The taking of jobs from Americans

these overseas giants ‘slow hung’ our country

again, idealizing

its monopolies and traitoress actions

money

was the word that rushed to its shores

leaving the trail

of its tsunami abreast in our hearts.

In the Spirit of the Roman Empire

I forecast

that the United States will eventually foreclose

and burn to the ground

as its forefathers of Democracy

could not

balance its efforts and crimes.

In the Spirit of the Roman Empire

I would chance to say

that people have open eyes

when all the years

they had slept in the petulance of Congress

deploring the American people

assimilating

a heroic but evil enterprise of joint control.

In the Spirit of the Roman Empire …
