Poem -

A spiritual Mother

Our mother,
Dear mother:

We love you.
It's the lessons we learned from you that sees us through.
It's the prayers and anointings you bestow upon us all.

It's the reason we don't crumle and fall-- we always stand tall.

It's your weekly memory verses, we learned from age two.
Like, "God so loved the world..."
You have loved me too.

Like, "trust in the Lord with all your heart... lean not on your own understanding," I include Lord Jesus in all my planning.

It's your perseverance mother. Your will has never bent.
Like you, "I can do everything in him who gives strength."

We celebrate you mother,
To God be the glory!
You're that faithful mother, in each bible story.
