Bitter Spring Dew

Bitter Spring Dew

will you see my smile again

will I ever in the flesh see yours

i hear your joy and laughter in the memories of another room

i cut you off as you had tried to sever me

but your life still threads through me

and what I did transcended all of that

our seed has been threatened

and you don’t seem to care

if only your flesh could return

to the blood that runs with mine

with ours
