I have a secret
Ssshh! You must not TELL
It is a secret
Therefore it is a living HELL!
I have a secret
Ssshh! You must keep it CLOSE
It is a secret
Therefore nobody shall ever KNOW!
I have a secret
Ssshh! You can hear me SAY
It is a secret
Therefore I carry it ALWAYS!
I have a secret
Ssshh! You must keep it HIDDEN!!
It is a secret
Therefore it is FORBIDDEN!!
I have a secret
Ssshh! Just exploding to come OUT!!
It is a secret
Therefore I can't say it out LOUD!!
I have a secret
Ssshh! You must keep it QUIET!!!
It is a secret
OTHETWISE THERE WILL BE A RIOT!!!!

There is a kind of wicked mania to this Pratibha as if the subject is absolutely bursting to tell and actually is very much letting us KNOW she has a secret thereby spreading the mystery and drama lol..i can almost see the crowd of friends gathered around just dying to know....wicked and fun and pinned. My inspiration?!....well this was one of the topics my friend gave me to help me keep writing....I normally choose a topic and write about it....the first verse came out and I wrote it, it felt right as I was talking to myself - I have a secret...and then I decided to repeat format and add more tension, Somehow it just worked. I love playing with sentences and layout!Β
