Stained Hour Glass

Stained Hour Glass

The Hour Glass
to my soul
Is stained
As though
It should
be displayed
as one of the
Windows
at
Sainte Chappelle
Cathedral

Stories
Emotions
Drawn
And
Shaped
With painfully
Detailed
Artistic
Expression

Each character
Upon
It
has a
vibrant
Living
Energy

My hour
Glass
Is
A
Day
a
Life
Into
This
Poet's
Spirit

Friends
And lovers
Who
Have
Came
And
Gone
serve
As
sweet
And
Bitter
Memories
Of who
I am

Though
My hour
Glass
Has
An
Expiration
Date
The sand
That
flows
Through
It
Is
Eternal

For it is
a representation
Of  a God
like image
Infinite
As the universe
That
Surrounds
It.....

Stunning Greg, I love the image of the soul being stained with the colours of our mistakes regrets and life etc. Pinned ?
