Stalemate

There's no such thing as an enjoyable stalemate. 
Even if we manage to gain some level of peace of comfort from knowing a situation
 or arrangement is experiencing gridlock,
 part of us still wants to see some level of progress made because stalemate doesn't equal closure or resolution. Agreeing to disagree is only helpful to a point, too. 
There's something you can do to improve or strengthen a certain association or arrangement. 
Be big enough to make the first kind step
