Stunning: "And from a starburst she did rise;"

Just great writing, I can almost feel the legendary tale of the universe beginning...

Taryn, this was an enchanting little piece.  The title STAR CHILD and then the lovely image of the opening lines:

And from a starburst she did rise;
In the darkness of the night;

All I would say is on the punctuation perhaps take out the semicolons, which are not needed and if you want to you could replace with commas instead.  A really small thing but things like that can sometimes distract from your write.
