Stargaze

Stargaze, my love. The fire lives, despite the blackrain. A
Tear has sung. The spirit ponders. And death feigns aloof.
Such magic, soot and silt, a burning wave. Thus the eyes,
A sullen glare; and thus the soul, a waking owl. [Selah]
Stargaze, my love: flicker flame: infuse the wick. For
Something so dark, coats the soul; and something so sly,
Intrigues the heart. And we thirst the pang. [Selah]
A subtle ache: a roaring wound. Must I beg to feel? For
Love warms the fountain; and myth gives life. Such a gust,
A heart of ghosts; and spirit wings, a touch of grief. Thus
The curse, a morbid chant; and thus the flame, a torrent sea.
[Selah] Stargaze, my love: drain the wound: awake the
Prophets. For sutures welt, a flooded mind. And fallin’
Sun, a twain affect. Breathe. Â
