Starlight, My Sunshine

Starlight, My Sunshine

The wind whistles, sorrow led cries;
Tales of dew drops on flowers', lonely nights.
Even so, The Stars above listen and watch.
Compared to them, our time; a moment,
Our pain a passing thought.
We in spite of the hopes they bring,
Blame the Stars for pain we receive.
Undermining how they fall for our wishes to be granted;
"Shooting stars! Where are my riches?!", we impatiently ranted.Β
Instead of waiting, we turn away,
Basking in the Sun, that blocks out other stars during the day.

Hey Zappilina!!.......this was a very clever write......I suppose whenΒ you wishΒ upon a star there's a little animosity left remaining when it doesn't come true.....and then, of course, you turn to the sun the next morning.......of course, stars andΒ suns are really the same thing.......but there WAS a clever charm about this piece.....almost fairy tale like quality.......ALL STARS.......creative stuff........and....,,WELCOME to COSMO my friend!!........LOVE and ROCKETS!......T lxoΒ Β ?
