Stars

When life is leaving painful scars,
Look to the sky, think of the stars,
Most of them that are seen tonight
Have been dead for years, but still shine light. 

Like the stars, though dead inside,
Light still shines that you can't hide. 
It may take years for it to be seen,
But still, it has always been. 

Right now feels dark and all alone,
Even in the place you call home,
But soon enough, your light will shine through,
And everyone will see you! 

So don't give up, and don't go out,
Live to see your light shine out! 
It may take a while for your time to come,
But don't let it be after your life is done!
