stars

stars and the night sky as one
floating up there with their golden shapes
shining and sparkling in a vast world
in a world that never stops and a world of colour
stars sitting up there appearing tomorrow night
appearing and disappearing as little ones sleep
floating away for the day as time moves and darkness leaves
i don t see these stars in the day or with the clouds
i don t see there beautiful sparkle next to the sun
but when they appear again they are still as bright
and the magic they hold still whispers all through the night
