Stars

If there were no other stars but the sun alone

And no other planets but the moon

Would that be enough for life on earth

Would men have survived the ranges

Would they have survived the desert and the seas

If all they had to find their way was endless hills and waves and trees

Would there be the sweet sweet songs of the nightingale

The empassioned howl of the wolf

What about campfire tales that developped into mythic legends

Would there be romance without the push and pull of the zodiac

What kind of life would we have at all

If lights in the sky didn't shine and fall
