Stars

Stars

Oh, nine spheres of wonder
how beautiful you shine
lighting my heart
when I look up at night’s sky

you’re so far away
yet always in my dreams
when the sun goes to bed
and moon shines her beams

the way that Orion and the Saucepan does peer
behind clouds maybe, just maybe you’re near?

when I look up to you, on a warm summer's night
heart fluttering fiercely, I simply just sigh

even on nights, that I’m sad and alone
you, my stars in paradise
shine down from beyond.

Just as people have done through the aeons Shirley, so you do here. And you express it beautifully. I wonder if, like me sometimes, you look up at the night sky and think that 100, 1000, maybe more years ago someone way back in your ancestry was doing the same but also seeing the same sky. "The way that Orion and the Saucepan does peer" is a great line. Have a great Monday my dear friend. 🌹

Thank you dear Bernie, I just love the thought of our missing loved ones up there looking upon us, you know the open skies of Tuscany are truly magical this time of year and in August we see the shooting stars that are amazing. I've always been a fan of space too. Thank you dear friend have a fab Monday. 🌹
