Stars in the Night

Do we all have one star in our night sky? 
One to put our cherished memories into. 
The more we fill it the brighter our star shines. 
When we look at it in our dark hours, 
The brightness will remind us what is within. 
What happens when it becomes a falling stars? 
It fades so quickly, this flash in the night. 
Is God playing catcher with our dazzling light? 
Does He store them in the milky way, 
Saving them for our cloudy days? 
Or maybe they're hidden in His sparkling smile, 
shining on me and you in times of sorrow.
