Starting Today

Starting Today

My place was appointed, you'll be by the window,
don't look out, you may see your past life down below;
I could see mistakes, errors, lovers and brothers,
guiding lights, knowledge that had to be my mothers.

A sharp voice jolted me - I told you not to look out,
or would you rather return to more pain and doubt;
I looked at my fellow colleagues, awkward wings,
it was unsure whether I could handle all these things.

Deal with heavenly power, wondered about weekly meeting,
should be grateful, by incredible means I'd been let in;
I noticed that there were some non-believers at the rear,
before I could wonder further, out tutor decided to appear.

He said: 'Describe the greed of homo sapiens to me,'
my colleague grinned across - his name was Zelensky.

Woah sublime,  seems to refer to angels and near death experiences perhaps, visions. Kudos for this poem!

Plz also read and comment my newest poem too.
