You said that you would always be by my side. Ā
Being cautious to never let go of your hands. Ā
Adhering to the promise I made to you that my soul should always linger. Ā
Although as time influences all things so did that promise and my memories. Ā
Remembering, it's not like you tried to stay.Ā
