Steadily Beat The Drum Of life
As high as an eagle flies the heart soars.
It beats with the beating of the drum.
The soul sings out for the wisdom of the ancestors.
Steadily beat the drum of life.
May chanting voices continue to instill lasting hope.
Tears upon blood stained ground be remembered.
May the stories ofĀ the people not be forgotten.
Steadily beat the drum of life.
May the people dance the dances of the ages.
Hear their cries.
Follow the guidanceĀ of theirĀ spirits.
Steadily beat the drum of life.
Walk lightly without fear.
Listen and hear.
The voices of the ancestors are clear.
