Stealing The Heart Of A Thief
I lingered not
Amongst the deficating rot,
I was hear in celebration
Disgusted by all the self mutilation,
Fixing my eyes
For a fox in disguise
Who would accept a hand
From a vibrantly stealing young man.
When there out the peripheral vision
A rare ruby of a gem, I... offered a proposition
To be a dear and get lost in a dance
With me of course we can float cloud nine to romance,
I searched her face for a blush
This voluptuous beauty in white sparkling plush
Who grinned a checkmate smile
Surveying the room asking can I go her mile,
I could run your marathon
And end your war
Of the battles for heart
Storm, invade your shore,
She crowed with laughter
I followed with that of my own there after
Grabbed her hand twirled her through a maze
Of dancing dummies setting lovers ablaze,
Muddled morning befalls a late foggy night
My memory slipped so did my angel in white,
And the old player himself who held all the cards
Had his hearts plucked from hand
Love judge sentences you guilty as charged.
